Family locates Ypsilanti Township woman reported missing

The 60-year-old Ypsilanti Township woman who was reported missing since Tuesday afternoon was found safe by her family, according to sheriff’s officials.

Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Geoffrey Fox said Betty Riley’s family found her Wednesday afternoon. Riley had been missing since about 4 p.m. Tuesday when she left her home in the 1300 block of Parkwood in Ypsilanti Township to go to a local gas station.

Information about where Riley was found and the circumstances of why she went missing was not available, Fox said. However, she was safe and in good condition.
