By Cindy Heflin

A thief or thieves stole a refrigerator and a stove from an Ypsilanti Township apartment, the resident reported Monday.

The resident, who reported the theft at 3 a.m. Monday, said neighbors reported they'd seen suspicious activity at the apartment in the 700 block of Campbell Avenue while the resident was not there and saw someone taking items out of the apartment, according to a media summary from the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office.

The case remains under investigation. No other information was immediately available.

The neighbors must have mistaken them for a moving company! I mean who steals a refrigerator and a stove at 3 a.m.?

Suspicious activity? Stove and refrigerator being removed while the tenant is not there. Probably not the landlord either. I would summize it to be suspicious activity too. Wonder why no one did anything.
