Friends of Tyler Cummings, the Whittaker resident, who died in a car crash Saturday, held a candlelight vigil at the crash site Wednesday for the second night in a row.
Mourners have brought balloons, candles and teddy bears to the spot near Whittaker and Merritt roads where the crash occurred.
Cummings, 18, a 2012 graduate of Lincoln High School, died when the car he was driving north on Whittaker Road crossed the centerline and struck a Ford Explorer head-on on Whittaker Road just south of Merritt Road Saturday afternoon.
