Thief throws rock through window, steals jewelry and electronics

An intruder threw a rock through a window at an Ypsilanti home, entered and then stole multiple items in a break-in reported Tuesday afternoon.

Ypsilanti police responded at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday to the home in the 300 block of East Cross Street after the home invasion was reported. According to police, someone threw a rock through a window, breaking the glass and allowing entry.

Police reported jewelry and electronics were among the items reported stolen.

No suspect information was released, and anyone who might have information on this incident is encouraged to call Ypsilanti police at 734-483-9510.
