Updated story: Kitchen fire burns man trying to put it out; woman injured jumping from window

Firefighters from four area departments are fighting a fire in Ypsilanti on Summit Street between Pearl and Congress streets.

Firefighters from Ann Arbor, Pittsfield Township and Ypsilanti Township as well as Ypsilanti fire departments have been called to the scene, a dispatcher for Huron Valley Ambulance said.
