Forum planned Tuesday to discuss redesign of Ypsilanti High School
Educational consultants EdWorks will host a public forum to discuss the restructuring of Ypsilanti High School at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the high school media center.
The forum is being held to gather input on the restructuring of the high school.
Ypsilanti Superintendent Dedrick Martin wrote in a letter to staff last month that the Michigan Department of Education approved the redesign plan for the high school. He called it “the first major hurdle in realizing our goal to restructure YHS.”
Martin said parts of the redesign plan will be implemented during the second semester of the 2010-11 school year.
