The Gangnam Style phenomenon has struck again.

Eastern Michigan University has released its own version to the viral video that recently hit the 1.1 billion mark on YouTube.

Ted Coutilish, associate vice president for university marketing and communications, said several hundred students, staff and faculty members participated in the video, which was filmed during the span of the fall semester.

The video captures the entire marching band, dance team and even a campus officer dancing to the song.

"Like everyone else, we’re monitoring the Gangnam Style video and noticing that those numbers kept increasing and we saw other universities were doing videos, too," Coutilish said. "We thought we could put our own stamp on it and have fun... We just wanted to be a part of phenomenon."
