Latest update: Police investigating EMU student's death as apparent homicide

Ypsilanti Police are investigating the off-campus death of an Eastern Michigan University student.

The woman was found in an apartment in Peninsular Place Apartments, located in the 1000 block of Huron River Drive at LeForge Road.
Police reportedly responded to the apartment at about 9:15 p.m. Tuesday. Ypsilanti police were still investigating at the scene about 7:20 a.m. Wednesday, EMU spokesman Walter Kraft said in a statement emailed to the campus community. EMU police are working closely with Ypsilanti police on the investigation, he said.
EMU sent out a crime alert due to the proximity to campus.
Further details were unavailable early Wednesday, but this story will be updated.

What is homicide? This death of a young EMU student should make us to reflect about a crime called 'homicide' which is the act of killing one human being by another human being. This act of violence happens only when man is estranged from his own true or real nature. If such acts of crime have to be prevented, we may have to educate all people about the true or real human nature.

The time could be appropriate. My cult is asking people to promote well-being of man through developing spiritual relationships. But, this concern for spirituality is not unique or new. For thousands of years, several people had expressed the same thoughts using different words.
