Very disheartening when those most in need are victimized.

Let's see, Apple has "saved" $74 billion in US tax using their Ireland corporate holdings, so maybe they can afford to help the Parkridge Community Center?

If the owners have the serial numbers of those machines they may come in handy. They are not only printed on the bottom, but show up in the system software as well, which means that even if they took the trouble to deface the printed serial, they can easily identify them through the system info should they turn up somewhere.

Sounds like a quirky enterprise not overly concerned with capital or training costs, whatever else it may be.

Unfortunately, the Ypsilanti police were unable to release any more information than this so the exact location and whether it is a business or not still is unknown. If I hear anything else, I will update the story. Thanks for reading!

I believe that is Parkridge Community Center - a private not for profit. They do a lot for the community so while any theft stinks, this one really does.

If so, I think that should be mentioned in the story.

Definitely not Gateways, Governor "job-creator" shipped those off to China.

Snyder was no longer CEO when that happened, but he was still on the board. According to annarbor.com, he claims to have opposed those move while a board member. http://www.annarbor.com/business-review/did-rick-snyder-ship-jobs-overseas-at-gateway/
