Ypsilanti, Lincoln school boards meet tonight

If you’re headed out to tonight’s Ypsilanti school board meeting, don’t plan on staying long.

The school board’s agenda for the evening is light, with several routine business matters.

The meeting kicks off at 7 p.m. in the board’s normal meeting room in the high school.

And while the public will likely be gone relatively quickly, school board members might be around for a bit. After conducting most of its business, the board will go into a closed session to discuss negotiations.

The Lincoln school board will also meet tonight and has a light agenda.

That’s really it on the schedule this week in local education news. Look for the pace to start to pick up next week as the start of school quickly approaches.

Thanks for the information on the BOE meetings. However, as a resident of the Whitmore Lake district, I want to hear the news about my BOE and what they are doing. Just because we are a small district doesn't mean that AA.com should overlook us. We need information and accountability just as much as the next person.
