Westbound I-94 closed in west Ann Arbor due to crash
Drivers were asked to avoid westbound I-94 near Jackson Road this morning due to a crash, but the highway was reopened shortly after 7 a.m.
Drivers also were warned to be ready for delays as Michigan State Police managed the scene and enforced a detour.
Police said the collision involved a bus and a semi-truck. Initial reports indicate only minor injuries were caused by the crash.
The alert was broadcast at about 5:50 a.m. Wednesday by the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department.
The closure remained in effect at 6:30 a.m. as the cleanup continued. Also closed during the cleanup was the westbound ramp from Jackson Road to I-94.
But both were opened to traffic at 7:10 a.m.

I live a block away and figured it was serious when I woke up to the helicopter circling. Hope all involved escaped serious injury or even worse.

Also they left the part out about how the kid driving the car was thrown from the vehicle before it was ran over by the bus and by some grace of god actually survived this horror show.
