Weekend forecast for Ann Arbor: hot and sunny

Hit the pool or the beach or take a hike. It looks to be a great weekend for summer fun in the Ann Arbor area. But be sure to take along some water. Temperatures near 90 will make it easy to get dehydrated during outdoor activities.

The weekend promises to offer perfect pool weather.

The weekend kicks off today with sunny skies and a high of about 85. Saturday, it will be mostly sunny with a high near 88 and a 30 percent chance of showers. Sunday, expect a mostly sunny day with a high near 89.

Monday, the chance for showers and thunderstorms returns with a high near 87 under mostly sunny skies. On Tuesday, it will be mostly cloudy with a high of about 80.

Wednesday and Thursday will be cooler with highs around 75.
