Depot Street between North Main Street and North Fourth Avenue in Ann Arbor was closed due to a water main break around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, fire officials said.
The Water Department had been notified of the situation as of 7:45 p.m., said Ann Arbor Fire Department Battalion Chief Randy Menard.
Fire crews were still on scene at that time, he said.
Menard did not know when the situation would be resolved.
More information was not immediately available.

7:30 am Thursday and they had still not isolated the broken section and shut off or repaired it, water break appears to under the basket ball court as water was flowing freely from under there.
