Although snow showers are expected to continue during the late afternoon Friday, the bulk of the snow will fall between 7 p.m. Friday and 1 a.m. Saturday, said Amos Dodson, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in White Lake Township. Visibility could be reduced to a half mile or less at times, the National Weather Service said

Temperatures will fall as a cold front moves in, with the low dropping to around 13 and wind chill values as low as 4 degrees below zero. The cold will continue Saturday with winds gusting to 29 mph, creating wind chill values as low as minus 5 during the morning.

Winds will die down somewhat during the afternoon, Dodson said, but temperatures will remain cold with the high between 17 and 22. Saturday night, the low will again dip to around 15.

Sunday, the forecast calls for mostly sunny skies and a high around 29.
