The University of Michigan made football history when the Wolverines hosted Notre Dame for the first night game at Michigan Stadium.

The event on Sept. 10 drew national attention - and the game's dramatic conclusion could be among the most memorable events of Coach Brady Hoke's first season in Ann Arbor.

But there are plenty of other elements to remember from that day, too, as the city celebrated in and near the stadium.

For anyone feeling nostalgic for the game and all of the activities surrounding it, the U-M Alumni Association is offering a unique perspective: A series of time-lapse photos taken that day near the Big House and the Diag, where ESPN hosted its "Game Day" program.

The 3:07-minute video can be found on the UMAA's website.

Pretty nice video, I think it would have been better with different music and if it was a bit longer.
