Heping Zhao, 63, went for a walk at 11 a.m. Tuesday, leaving a lab in the Medical Science II building. He never returned, according to police.
The Pittsfield Township resident was last seen wearing a blue long-sleeve shirt and brown or khaki pants. He's Asian and stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds.
According to the U-M Medical School's Department of Medical Education website, Zhao works as a pathologist assistant in the Division of Anatomical Sciences.
He is also a contributing author to a 2011 presentation on the growing use of U-M's Plastination Lab in human anatomy studies.
Anyone with information on Zhao’s whereabouts is encouraged to call the University of Michigan Police at 734-763-1131.

Something very interesting is in the 5th paragraph is to click on the link for the UM Plastination Lab and scroll down to watch the video "Turning on the Vacuum Pump". That is a human body in that tub that the worker is scooping out organs from, you can see their head. Fascinating, but a bit creepy.

The river is quite close to the location where he was last seen. Could he have been walking alongside and possibly slipped and fallen?
