U-M dean speaks about teacher evaluations Sunday on MSNBC's 'Teacher Town Hall'
Deborah Loewenberg Ball, dean of the University of Michigan's School of Education, will be interviewed at noon Sunday on MSNBC as part of the NBC network’s Education Nation Summit.
According to the University Record, Ball will be interviewed by NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams about the changing landscape of teacher evaluation, as part of a two-hour “Teacher Town Hall.”
Ball was named to the Governor's Council on Educator Effectiveness in 2011. She's also nationally ranked as one of the most influential education scholars.
The program will be broadcast live from noon to 2 p.m., and Ball is scheduled to appear in the first half-hour.
NBC's "Education Nation" 2012 Summit starts Sunday and runs through Tuesday in New York City.
