Thunderstorms, hail possible in Ann Arbor Wednesday evening

By Cindy Heflin

Showers and thunderstorms, some capable of producing small hail, will continue to affect the Ann Arbor area Wednesday evening, the National Weather Service said.

The storms could produce hail that's pea-sized to one-half inch in diameter, the weather service said. Showers and thunderstorms are expected to dissipate around sunset.

Skies will clear overnight, the weather service said. Sunny days are on tap for Thursday and Friday with highs in the 60s Thursday and low 70s Friday.
