Three crashes slowing traffic on Ann Arbor freeways
A trio of crashes was slowing traffic on Ann Arbor-area freeways Tuesday morning.
Two were on westbound M-14 not far from each other, at Barton Drive and Pontiac Trail. Neither was blocking traffic, a dispatcher with the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office said at 8:55 a.m., but a Google map showed a significant slowdown on the freeway in the area.
Another crash was reported at westbound Interstate 94 and Michigan Avenue. That crash was not blocking traffic either, the dispatcher said.

More commuters who simply can't play nice with each other. On a side note, it's clear that accidents occur repeatedly at certain points (the entrances to M-14, the M-14/US23 merge, etc.) Perhaps a new study of the dynamics in those areas is warranted.
