Informational meeting on the regulations surrounding medical marijuana on Monday

The 3rd Coast Compassion Center will be holding a town hall-style meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at the Ypsilanti Township Civic Center, 7200 S. Huron River Drive.
Members of 3rd Coast are encouraging local officials to attend the meeting to learn more and discuss House Bill 5580, the Provisioning Center Act, a proposal to regulate the provisioning, distributing and usage of medical marijuana.
The meeting will be attended by state Rep. Michael Callton, who also was an original supporter of the bill.
