Tennessee man accused of enticing Ann Arbor area minor is indicted on federal charges

A Tennessee man accused of enticing a 14-year-old Ann Arbor area girl to text him sexually explicit photographs and videos of herself was indicted by a federal grand jury on four criminal counts.

Ray Lebron Davis, 28, of Henderson, is charged with producing child pornography, receiving child pornography, attempted coercion and enticement of a minor, and traveling over state lines with the intent of engaging in illicit sexual conduct.

He was indicted last week and is being detained without bail, federal court records show. The alleged illegal activity occurred between June and December 2009, the indictment says.

Davis was arrested Feb. 4 on a federal criminal complaint charging him with producing child pornography.

Jackson, Tenn., police, Pittsfield Township police and the U.S. Secret Service investigated the case.
