Temperatures in the 90s expected as first official day of summer nears

Forecasts are calling for temperatures in the 90s today and Wednesday — the first official day of summer.

According to forecasts, today's high is 93 degrees, with partly cloudy skies and a light breeze. It will be partly cloudy in the evening, with clear skies tonight. The low is 68.

The first day of summer is expected to be a hot one, too, with a high of 91 and partly cloudy skies.

The rest of the week will see slightly cooler temperatures — highs in the 80s Thursday with a chance of thunderstorms and highs in the 70s Friday.
