Missing used cooking oil wasn't stolen after all
The case of the missing cooking oil has been solved, and it turns out it wasn’t stolen after all.
Tuesday, sheriff’s deputies said a trailer with $8,000 worth of used cooking oil slated for recycling was reported missing, but investigators have since discovered it was all a misunderstanding.
The owner of the 42-foot tanker reported it stolen when he went to pick it up recently in the 1800 block of Cadillac St. in Ypsilanti Township. The tanker itself was valued at about $20,000
But Tuesday evening it was determined that someone at the business where the trailer was left had moved it.
The trailer’s owner has since picked it up in Wayne County, said Washtenaw County sheriff's Sgt. Geoffrey Fox.

I guess we don't need to do any fracking since we have $8000 of oil now.
