Six people taken to the hospital following Ann Arbor car accident on I-94
Six people were taken to the hospital following a three-car accident in Ann Arbor Saturday afternoon, according to Capt. Greg Payeur of the Pittsfield Fire Department.
Payeur said the accident occurred around 2:15 p.m. on eastbound I-94 at the State Street exit ramp.
He said four victims were taken to the University of Michigan Hospital and two were taken to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, though none suffered critical injuries.
The Michigan State Police took the lead in investigating the accident, but could not be reached later Saturday for additional information. They were assisted by Pittsfield, the Ann Arbor Fire Department and Huron Valley Ambulance.
Payeur said he did not know the cause of the accident. Further details were not available.
