Severe thunderstorm warning issued for Washtenaw County

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Washtenaw County until 12:45 p.m.

At 11:35 a.m., Doppler radar indicated a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph moving toward the area, the Weather Service said.

The storms will be near Hudson Mills metropark near dexter around 12:10 p.m., the weather service said. The warning area also includes Livingston County.

Washtenaw County is also under a severe thunderstorm watch until 2 p.m.today.

I'm with you Jack. We have floods and one of the wettest Mays ever then one of the driest Junes. My yard looks like brown steel wool.
