Several videos of Dexter tornado surface

By Nathan Bomey

(See full coverage of the Dexter tornado here.)

At least five videos of the Dexter tornado have surfaced. Here they are. (Warning: some strong language.)

The first three videos show the tornado near Hudson Mills Metropark.

The user who shot this video described the tornado as being a quarter mile east of Dexter.

This video shows the tornado near St. Joseph Parish at Mast and North Territorial Road.

One of these videos shows my house in the left foreground. My story was too long to post here. You can find it on the Community Wall. Does anyone know when cell phone service in Dexter will be back on....frustrated that I can't find out if friends are okay.

The last video is mislabeled above the video. That's the new St Joseph Parish out at Mast and North Territorial, not the old Parish in town on Dover.

Actually, the tornado touched down in the alley next to my house, which is one block down from the old church. It came VERY close.

Thank you. That's been corrected.

Wow...seriously? Disc golfing during a tornado. And actually running towards the tornado to retrieve thrown discs. Um, a tornado does not mean "fun time". Just ask those folks in Dexter how much fun they had as their homes were destroyed.

You're right, Scott. I've seen a lot of tornadoes in my time...especially when I lived in Kansas for a few years. This was the real deal. If you hear a continuous emergency siren. you TAKE COVER!
