Huron River Drive near WCC down to one lane for road construction

Huron River Drive between Clark and Hogback roads on the east side of Ann Arbor has been reduced to one lane until further notice for road construction.
The lane closure began Thursday for construction of a center left-turn lane to access Washtenaw Community College and St. Joseph Mercy Hospital.
Traffic will be restricted to one-lane under flag control operations during the day while work is occurring, and the Washtenaw County Road Commission advises motorists to seek alternative routes.

What's the big deal? Stadium is down to one lane in each direction north of Seventh and Jackson Road will soon follow east of Maple and these lane restrictions are permanent.................
