Last year, the historical society held a vintage truck show, but this year, tractors were added and organizers expect eight to 10 different trucks and as many antique tractors.

Members of the John Deere Tri-County Two-Cylinder Club, as well as historical society members and friends, will show their antique trucks and tractors.

Dean Greb, president of the Saline Area Historical Society, said the fire truck has been “completely restored” and it’s the vehicle’s first time back to the city since the work was completed.

“The first 50 children will receive fire hats,” he said, adding that there will be a Dalmatian statue as part of the display as well.

The Saline Lions and Kiwanis will sell food and drinks and visitors can tour the farm and see all the farm animals including twin black lambs.

“We’re hoping that people will make it a family outing,” Greb said.

There is a $1 admission for adults and children are free, he said, and proceeds benefit the farm and will be used for maintenance and upkeep of the farm museum.

The event takes place from 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. at 1265 E. Michigan Ave.
