Saline’s ice skating rink is now expected to open Friday afternoon.

The portable rink, located at the northeast corner of Henne Field off Bennett Street, is a partnership between the CARES recreation millage, the city’s Economic Development Corporation, and the Saline Rotary Club.

A leaking liner delayed the opening of the rink, the city said previously. But officials said Tuesday that the rink should be ready by Friday.
