Saline Planning Commission approves site for assisted living facility

By AnnArbor.com Staff

The final site plan for the first phase of Linden Square, an assisted living and memory care center, was approved by the Saline Planning Commission at its Wednesday meeting, according to Saline Patch.

The site is planned for Maple Road and Woodland Drive.

The commissioners approved the $9 million plan with a vote of 6-0, and construction could start as soon as next week.

The center is being planned by Reenders, Inc., and the first phase of the building will contain 57 units.

The second phase is planned to be a 55-unit building to mirror the original on its east side. Reenders wants to purchase a facility from Saline Area Schools with an entrance on Woodland Drive, officials told Saline Patch.
