Saline High School principal Ben Williams is leaving the district to become superintendent of a district in Northern Michigan, according to a report on Patch.com.

Williams will be leaving to run the Central Lake Public Schools district in Northwest Michigan, he told officials and parents this week.

Assistant principal Eric Diroff has been named interim principal.
