Rudolf Steiner School Top Scholars

Rudolf Steiner held its 2011 graduation ceremonies Saturday, June 18 at the Michigan League, and the reception followed at the high school. The class had 16 graduates.

Parents' names: Cyndy Vachon, Timothy Vachon, Joseph Masaracchia


Activities and Awards: Libby is a National Merit Semifinalist. She is active in theater and musical theater. At Rudolf Steiner High School, Libby played Rosie in "Bye Bye Birdie" and participated in theater and musical theater all four years. She is also active in Lights Up Co. productions, playing Franny in "Franny and Zooey." While in high school, Libby was a also active in class activities, including prom committee.


Plans after graduation: Libby plans to study vocal performance in Rome, Italy.

Parents' names: Glenn Golden and Carlyn Evans


Activities and Awards: Sam is a National Merit Scholarship qualifier. He was active in high school orchestra and chamber music program in both violin and viola. He participated in varsity golf.


Plans after graduation: Sam will attend Kalamazoo College. He will study mathematics or engineering.
