Rolled over semi truck slows traffic on southbound U.S. 23

A semi truck that rolled over on the southbound lanes of U.S. 23 at Interstate 96 in Livingston County slowed traffic Monday afternoon.
The semi rolled over near the eastbound I-96 ramp around 2:40 p.m., according to the Michigan State Police.
The driver suffered unknown injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.
As of 3:15 p.m., only one southbound lane on U.S. 23 was open. Crews were on scene attempting to right the truck and clean up. State police estimated the lanes wouldn't fully be opened for two to three hours.
