High-wind warning in effect until 6 p.m. Saturday
The Ann Arbor area is part of a high-wind advisory issued for Michigan by the National Weather Service.
Winds of up to 45 miles per hour could occur, the NWS warns.
The advisory starts at 10 a.m. and runs until 6 p.m.
While the Saginaw Bay area could be most affected, the NWS warns that motorists will feel the westerly gusts when they're traveling on north-south roadways.
The rest of today's weather forecast calls for partly cloudy skies by afternoon, a 40-percent chance of light rain and a high in the mid-50s.

A possible answer to our city's elimination of leaf pick-up; blow into the street and neighbor's yard!

I would expect nothing less that a lot of wind blowing...we did have a visit from the top politician to SE Michigan...too bad the normal hot air didn't help with the temps....

Is this the kind of wind conditions where, as my Aussie Buddies state, "the dog will be straight out on the chain day"?
