Police arrest two, eject another 39 from Michigan Stadium during Minnesota game
Police made two arrests, both for minors in possession of alcohol, inside Michigan Stadium at Saturday's game against Minnesota.
Five citations were issued — four for alcohol in the stadium and one for possessing another person's ID. There were an additional 39 ejections Saturday — 19 for possessing another's ID, 11 for alcohol in the stadium, six for disorderly conduct, two for urinating in public and one for violations of stadium rules, according to information from Diane Brown, spokeswoman for the U-M Department of Public Safety.
Emergency personnel treated 37 people, and one was transported to the hospital, according to Brown.
She said 111,106 attended the game, which Michigan won, 58-0.

How does this compare to 2001, 1991, 1981 or 1971? How about during the Bump Elliot days? Did the colder weather make people more restless? I wonder that if the game was a blowout in our favor, fans got more distracted. I miss the beachballs floating around. Maybe it has gotten too noisy (sorry, that's another acrticle). These seem like misdemeanor-type issues. Let us know when something more serious occurs.

Can we please have a graph that shows the trend! Maybe even a stadium "Crime map" showing where those troublemakers lurk.

All those people in the stadium. The anti social behavior, abuse of alcohol, breaking the law. And not one person committing a crime was cited for marijuana possession or use. Please investigate this and tell us why.

They missed one in the section I was sitting in. Drunk who kept falling on people, sitting on the stairway in everybody's way so he could talk to his buddy's and on top of that he thought it was funny to use foul language in front of kids. Why can't these people understand that other people come to watch the game and don't want to have to put up with that behavior.

The usher in our section was laughing along with him at times and acted like they were old pals.

So what determines whether a citation is issued or they are ejected from the Stadium or they are arrested?. Anyone in possession of alcohol in the Stadium should be arrested as it is illegal to possess Alcohol in the stadium.

I'm guessing the punishments imposed vary directly with the level of cooperation and lack of "attitude" the security team and police receive.
