Wow...so many unnecessarily hostile comments toward A2.com. Causes one to wonder why the commentators of said comments would even bother perusing said website...this is Ann Arbor man...and most of us round here believe in progressive ideals as well as um...the truth...if you want to engage in debate on this website, use some tact and have the facts to back it up...

Here's a fact: The mess we're in today is a direct result of the beginning of the progressive movement beginning in the early 1900's. I am not saying that everything from the progressive movement is bad but it has created too much dependency on government goodies and a precipitous decline in morality.

Thank you AnnArbor.com for your recommendations and endorsements for the election tomorrow! I plan to vote correctly so I will just do the opposite of your recommendations and endorsements.

There is no way I would ever vote for a Socialist verging on bing a communist. I love America to much to vote for the Democratic Party, the party that wants to raise your taxes so they can spend it on their pet projects. Tax and spend. Look at our deficit under the Democrats 16 trillion dollars with 1 trillion in over spending every year. They have not produced a budget in 4 years so they can spend like a drunken sailor or soldier or Marine. Pres. Obama and his party has no plan to stop the spending. All they have is continuous atacks on Romney who has a plan and has a Vice-presidential canidate who will help to carry out that plan. Pres. Obama's plan and the Democratic Party's plan is to have all of us on food stamps. 42 million is a good start. We need real leadership and Romney will give us that. He has done it in business and as governor.

Another "facts optional" opinion. Give us all a break and please look up history before spouting nonsense that someone else told you. The deficit is the responsibility of the Democrats, Republicans and all of us who elected them.

Sticking with that UNOFFICIAL endorsement (through continuously biased reporting) of the AADL's bond proposal, eh? Perfect.

I have a pretty good idea of how I'm going to vote. I also know that if one more canvasser knocks on my door asking me how I'm voting, if I'm registered, etc., ad nauseam, ad infinitum, said canvasser is going to get a glass of water square in the face. followed by the door being slammed in their now-dripping face. Canvassers, stay. off. my. porch. you have been warned(maybe I should put a sign on the door).

I do agree with them on the proposals which is a total suprise but refreshing.................

Mike

Mon, Nov 5, 2012 : 9:01 p.m.

Looks like if I vote the opposite of what they have endorsed it will match up with who I'm voting for. Now I remember why I quit subscibing to the printed version during the last election cycle. It's no wonder so many media oputlets are bleeding red ink and going out of business. I guess that's good in some ways but I used to enjoy reading a newspaper and watching other "news" organizations..........

T

Mon, Nov 5, 2012 : 9:30 p.m.

Mike you must not have the Ed Shultz/MSNBC quick reference guide. unions=middle class spending=investing tax cuts=spending Hopefully you get a copy before vote, our public unions are counting you.

Tom Todd

Mon, Nov 5, 2012 : 9:10 p.m.

The middle class is paying higher taxes, with the Rich tax break from Snyder what has that done for Michigan?

Tom Todd

Mon, Nov 5, 2012 : 9:08 p.m.

Mike, don't forget, it's Michigan, and a lot of folks belong to unions, also the unions raise wages for all,is Snyder your neighbor?

Mike

Mon, Nov 5, 2012 : 9:04 p.m.

There is a difference between the middle class and the unions who would benefit. I think you meant wow, what a punch in the face to the unions and some relief for the middle class who would have to pay for this abomination in higher taxes................
