opinion: Warpehoski can encourage diverse groups to find common causes

As a resident of the 5th Ward for 40 years, I believe we need to be represented on City Council by a person who understands many of our diverse needs, who knows how to learn more, and who knows how to encourage diverse people to get together to get important things done.

We need Chuck Warpehoski. I’ve worked with Chuck as a member of the Interfaith Council on Peace and Justice for several years, and I’ve been impressed with his ability to bring disparate perspectives together to find common cause — even when dealing with very contentious issues. This is an important skill on City Council. Please, vote in the Aug. 7 primary election, and vote for Chuck Warpehoski for City Council.
