Opinion: Pratt possesses background needed for Water Resources Commissioner
On Aug. 7, voters have the opportunity to ensure that Washtenaw County continues to be a leader in water resource protection by voting for Evan Pratt for Water Resources Commissioner.
Evan will come to the job with the background and experience this important position requires. He's a professional engineer with a degree in Environmental Engineering from MIT, and over 20 years' background in designing and managing major water resource projects for local governments. His community involvement, as Chair of the Board of the Huron River Watershed Council and eight years' service on the Ann Arbor Planning Commission, are just some of the credentials that demonstrate his commitment to public service. Evan's experience in financial management, as a board of director's member of a multi-million dollar corporation and as treasurer for several non-profit organizations, will ensure that the office continues as an accountable steward of public dollars. Please join me in supporting Evan Pratt for Water Resources Commissioner.
