Ingrid Ault will bring a fresh perspective to the Ann Arbor City Council

By Letters to the Editor

Ingrid Ault will bring a fresh and practical perspective to City Council. She has experience in developing small businesses and has worked well with business owners; she understands their needs and their strengths for creating a vibrant downtown.

She has worked with a 3rd Ward neighborhood to find solutions for a specific problem, using her urban planning background. While serving on a city committee, she has worked with community members to examine the needs and to make recommendations to bring resources to increase the stability and well-being of our residents.

Through her work with the Ypsilanti DDA, she has had first-hand experience with the importance of regional cooperation and collaboration to strengthen business development in our areas. This has also increased her support for a well-developed regional transit system.

She has the ability to work well with a variety of our residents, and will bring the needed experts, varying opinions, facts and realities into the discussion in order to a arrive at the best possible decisions for the City. I urge residents of the 3rd Ward to vote for Ingrid Ault on Aug. 2.
