Honor our wounded veterans with a visit to Ann Arbor VA hospital
Proud young American military men and women are serving and sacrificing for freedom around the world. Many of these veterans are coming to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) with special needs and challenges that require the hearts and hands of a new generation of VA volunteers.
We at the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System are honored to spend our days providing veterans the best quality healthcare available as a way of demonstrating our gratitude for their service.
Each of us can make a positive difference in the life of a hospitalized veteran. Community groups and local citizens do much to lift the spirits of our patients. I invite every member of our community to visit the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, at 2215 Fuller Road, during the National Salute to Hospitalized Veterans, Feb. 8-14.
Please join our "Visit a Vet for Valentine's Day" program, or stop by anytime during National Salute week to visit hospitalized veterans and remind them that their sacrifices are not forgotten.
To schedule a visit or to learn how to join us in saluting these brave men and women, please contact our Voluntary Service office at (734) 845-3467.
