One teenager charged in pop bottle bomb incident, Pittsfield Township police say
One of two teenagers who investigators say set off a "pop bottle bomb" at a Pittsfield Township gas station Tuesday night has been charged in the case, a police news release said.
Duane Che Cochran, 17, of Pittsfield Township, is charged with unlawful possession or use of a harmful device causing personal injury and placing an explosive with an offensive substance with intent to injure, the release said.
Charges have not yet been authorized for an 18-year-old Ann Arbor resident also arrested Wednesday, the release said.
Police say the teenagers walked into a Sunoco in the 4000 block of Washtenaw Avenue shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday and placed the device near the counter. After the teenagers left, police say the bottle exploded, leaving a clerk with minor eye and throat irritation from the fumes.
It's unclear why they set off the device, police said.

I think there should be federal terrorist charges. Their actions were not a "prank" by any means.
