Video: Watch the demolition of blighted homes on Ann Arbor's North Main Street

Six blighted houses along North Main Street in Ann Arbor will be demolished by the end of the week.
Three of the six houses facing the wrecking ball were demolished by noon Wednesday and the remaining three are expected to come down by the end of the week.
The city of Ann Arbor is demolishing the blighted structures, which the city deemed dangerous, following the failure of the Near North affordable housing development.

Remember cibachrome, this material has been standing over many years with infestation, unknown chemicals and general rot. Re-using the materials would be disastrous for someone down the line. Unpractical to re-use this garbage and risk anyone's health.

Our tax dollars at work, when state money could/should have been used, had competent city management requested it prior to the availability deadline.
