Motorists advised to avoid Michigan Avenue and Platt Road because of disabled semi

The Pittsfield Township Department of Public Safety was advising motorists Wednesday morning to avoid Michigan Avenue and Platt Road.
Crews were working to clean up hydraulic fluid leaking from a disabled semi truck, according to an emailed advisory from the department.
The advisory, issued about 10 a.m., said the cleanup was expected to take 30 to 40 minutes.
