More road closures begin today for Costco Warehouse area
According to the Washtenaw County Road Commission, additional lane closures will remain on Ellsworth Road between State Street and Airport Boulevard, Lohr Road just south of Ellsworth Road, State Street between Ellsworth Road and Interstate 94, and Research Park Drive just east of State Street.
A minimum of one lane in each direction will be maintained on Ellsworth Road, Lohr Road, Research Park Drive and State Street, but delays are expected during this ongoing construction.
Costco is moving ahead with hiring employees in anticipation of a June 29 opening.
Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes until further notice.

I'm glad to read that the entry solution for Research Park Drive is the same solution for businesses on Airport Boulevard: use Ellsworth.

Enter from Ellsworth for Zingermans. I encountered this today. No warning. You don't know until you are there and have to figure out how to get around it.

Earlier opening due to a business that is profit oriented, with a strict eye for what's being wasted and who's doing a good job, etc.; unlike the Big Dig, etc., where the city can rely on income that is legally guaranteed regardless of how you spent it, and whether the project is a good idea and/or is really needed, etc.
