Megabus cancels trips to and from Michigan due to safety concerns with Hurricane Sandy
Megabus has canceled several routes in response to Hurricane Sandy, including those going from the Chicago location into Michigan, according to the company's website.
The website says officials are monitoring the storm, and making sure that passenger safety is their first concern. Passengers already holding tickets will receive an email with further information, including how to receive a refund or reschedule a trip.
So far, the Chicago to Ann Arbor to Detroit route as well as the Chicago to Grand Rapids to East Lansing to Detroit route, have both been canceled in all directions.

Smart move. Northern Indiana is forecasted to see 55+ mph wind gusts blowing perpendicular to the freeways. A great big bus rolling down the road might not be the safest place to be.
