Masked gunman changes mind about robbing gas station, Ypsilanti police say
A man wearing a mask and holding a gun walked into an Ypsilanti gas station Monday night, looked around the store and left, Ypsilanti police say.
Police are treating the 10:20 p.m. incident in the 200 block of North Prospect Street as an attempted armed robbery, Sgt. Kevin Dorsey said.
A detailed description of the man wasn't available. Police say the incident wasn't reported until Tuesday morning.
Investigators are attempting to recover surveillance footage of the incident, police said.

Lee, Lee, Lee....the police said he looked around and left. YOU made up that fact he "changed his mind." Nobody was arrested, therefore nobody said they changed their mind. Please report only the facts.

When I started reading this story I thought there was going to be a punch line: "A man wearing a mask and holding a gun walked into an Ypsilanti gas station Monday night..." Something like "He reached into his backpack and pulled out a parrot and the parrot said..."

Maybe the proprietor, out of camera range, racked his.475 Wildey Magnum and said, "Something I can do for you?" And the "customer" suddenly remembered another appointment...

Might be "The Corner Store", or if the store at Prospect and Clark is considered Prospect.
