Michigan lottery winner's first order of business: donate to Mott Children's Hospital

According to Michigan Lottery officials, the 36-year-old Westland man who won on Oct. 18 immediately wrote a $1,000 check to U-M's C.S. Mott Children's Hospital.
The release said he has chosen to remain anonymous, but his winning ended up totaling $105,000. The winning ticket was sold at the Kroger at 200 S. Merriman Road.
