At least 5 of the restaurants on the list are not located in downtown Ann Arbor and, in fact, have their own parking lots. If easy parking is the most important attribute of a restaurant, there you go.

No thanks - Ann Arbor is as "car-unfriendly" (and as a result handicapped-unfriendly) as possible, with no parking in order to raise ticket revenue, and that half-mile walk as mentioned by the other poster is downright brutal on crutches or a wheelchair. On top of which is the "Your money's welcome here, you aren't!" attitude of the city itself, and of course having to travel that half mile in the other direction if I wish to follow the meal with a cigar, provided Ann Arbor hasn't outlawed smoking in your own car... yet. Sure, that's probably a minority opinion, but it's a minority who's taken thier money and their business elsewhere - not because of these things individually, but rather as a collected whole they make the city unpalatable to me, especially grating is the deliberate shortage of parking in order to provide ticket revenue, which as I understand there's been some dispute about quite recently as well, no honor among thieves I guess. Also worth a mention is concern about being mistaken for a non-shopper and chased away by the AAPD, something which several former incidents of behavior towards others cause me to hold against them and their city given the general attitude about it.

Hates Traffic and No Parking

A big reason not to go downtown is there is no parking and you end up walking a half mile or more when you finally do find a parking place. As for me, I enjoy eating at the Ann Arbor Country Club. It has a spectacular view of the golf course and pool and the food is great. And, the best part is there is nothing on the menu that exceeds $20 in price with most items being under $10. These are not specials but everyday pricing. The lasagna (meat and vegetarian) is great and the portions are sized for a football player. The fish specials (under $20) are excellent. The ribs and steaks are tender and juicy. And, you will never find parking a problem at the AACC with one parking area at the main doors and two huge pargking lots less than 25 yards from the main entrance.

Sounds more like you hate walking than parking. God forbid that someone has to walk more than 25 yards to go indulge at a nice restaurant in a vibrant town.
