Would it help to dig ditches on that road portion, or is there a swamp on both sides of that portion? It would be interesting if the News interviewed some of the residents nearby that area. Years ago they did interview a man, living on some other road, who said his road was a swamp.

This is news? Hasn't this been happening on this part of Liberty for at least 40 years?

Of course it's not news. But equally of course, there's a good reason to get the word out so that people will have a chance of being forewarned. Just once, I would like a local story to go out without annarbor.com's chorus of gripers saying "this is news?"

Quick, who do we blame for this. Let's get the County road crews out with the water removal plows, let's salt the road. Oh wait that's for snow. Well somebody's got to be at fault for this.
