Hardy souls leap into Ford Lake to benefit Heart Association

The Lake Shore Apartments in Ypsilanti Township hosted the annual Ford Lake Frozen Leap, a charity effort to aid the American Heart Association.
Leapers got people to pledge donations, and today they took the plunge —Â literally, right into the lake.

I'd have a heart attack just jumping into that water. That cold water is enough to give anyone a start. Polar Bear Club I am not..
